Our founder, John Felgemacher, an immigrant that came over from Germany as a teenager, perfected his craft as a mason and still is a part of the company today. Our Story
As an immigrant from Germany, John Felgemacher started his masonry business in Buffalo, New York, in 1953. At the age of 15, John was an apprentice to a master bricklayer in Germany. John's wealth of knowledge and years of experience give Felgemacher Masonry's clients the absolute best solutions when it comes to all of their general masonry needs. In addition to chimney rebuilding and repair, we also specialize in chimney sweeping, chimney lining, tuck pointing, stone work and interior brick work.
Over the past 15 years, Felgemacher Masonry has expanded to become a family owned business that spans three generations. Under the direction of John, his son and two grandsons have helped to build Felgemacher Masonry into a leader in the restoration and rebuilding of brick and stone chimney industry in Western New York.
